About the Virtual Workshop: This virtual workshop accompanying our tea tasting kit is taught by Erin Antosh, Clinical Herbalist and CEO of Where The Good Grows. Conducted in the format of a wine tasting, you will taste six different medicinal-strength herbal teas. We will go beyond the standard peppermint and chamomile teas to introduce you to less common herbs that have powerful medicinal properties. Erin will discuss the therapeutic actions of each herb tasted, so you can gain an understanding of which herbs are calming/reduce anxiety, which herbs are so relaxing that they can be used as sleep aids, which herbs strengthen the immune system, and the herbs that support your body’s detoxification pathways.

During this tasting, you will take note of the taste of each single-herb tea to inform how you may want to combine flavors and desired therapeutic actions for a custom tea blend. You may want to create a sleepy time tea, an anti-inflammatory tea, a tea packed with vitamins and minerals…the choice is yours! Erin will discuss the art and science of herbal tea blending and guide you in creating your own tea blend. We will also discuss how to properly make herbal infusions as well as decoctions, so you know how to prepare the medicinal strength tea blend you create during class.

Ingredients: Kit includes six tea bags filled with herbal teas for the tasting component of the workshop, 8 packets of loose leaf herbs for the tea blending component of the workshop, a worksheet/placemat with educational herb descriptions, and six tasting cups. All organically grown herbs. We regularly change the teas that we offer in each tasting workshop so you can take the class again and again to try new herbal teas each time. As you will be tasting/blending herbal teas, everything provided in your kit is completely caffeine-free.

For Corporate/Private Groups: This online workshop makes a great team building event! We coordinate a virtual event with you and mail all of your team members a kit to their home or office. Please note that we cannot ship kits internationally – we provide international participants with a list of the herbs that they can source in their country at a local health food store or online so they are able to participate. A participation fee applies for anyone who will be participating but not receiving a tea tasting kit. All corporate/private events must be booked at least 2 months in advance to ensure we have adequate inventory and shipping time (exceptions can be made if we have the inventory and availability to accommodate your desired date). A private event fee applies for corporate/private events in addition to the per-person fee of $55 (which covers participation and the kit), participation fees for any attendees not receiving a kit, shipping charges, and taxes. The farms we work with to source our medicinal plants are also following guidance from the CDC in their operating practices.

Please note that there are shortages of various ingredients and delays in WTGG being able to receive ingredients for our products. As we don’t have access to our normal label printing capabilities, some of your products may have handwritten labels or labels printed from our home printer.
