Gentle Daily Detox Herbal Tea

$32.00

This organic loose leaf herbal tea (tisane) has medicinal plants that support your body’s natural detoxification processes. Formulated with herbs that support the liver, lymphatic system, and kidneys while providing critical minerals. This tea is gentle enough to be consumed daily (1 cup a day), while also providing powerful cleansing support. We don’t encourage extreme detoxification/cleansing programs, but instead believe it is best to support your liver and other detoxification pathways daily as part of a healthy lifestyle.

We offer a Gentle Daily Detoxification: Herbal Remedies to Support your Body’s Detoxification Pathways program to teach how to use herbal remedies to support liver health and biotransformation. Not sure how to steep a loose leaf herbal tea to get a medicinal-strength brew? Join us for our The Power of Herbal Tea for Optimal Health workshop! Product Details:

Please note this is a fairly bitter tea (similar to coffee’s bitter taste), which helps to stimulate the liver. Our customers love the taste and often enjoy it as a coffee alternative in the morning. For the best cleansing effects, we recommend enjoying a cup of this tea first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, an hour before your breakfast. Caffeine-free.

Size: 3 oz compostable bag; makes 20+ cups of tea

Ingredients: Dandelion Leaf & Root*, Nettle Leaf*, Burdock Root*, Calendula Flower*

*Certified Organic Ingredient

Directions: We recommend preparing herbal tea in a french press to get the most potent steep for loose leaf tea, similar to how coffee is brewed in a french press. Use 1 teaspoon of the herbal tea for every two cups of hot water. It is best to use hot water that is close to boiling, but hasn’t yet come to a rapid boil. Let the tea steep for at least 20 minutes (the longer the steep the more potent the nutritive and detoxification properties). We recommend covering your steeping vessel (such as putting the top on your french press) while your tea is steeping to keep the tea hot and to limit the natural plant oils to be released in the steam. For the best cleansing effects, we recommend enjoying a cup of this tea first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, an hour before your breakfast. Add your milk of choice, local raw honey, Green Stevia Powder or natural maple syrup if it is too bitter for your taste.
