But most chocolate on store shelves is overly processed, and loaded with sugar and additives, depleting its potential nutritional power.\nIn this workshop, you will learn how to make dark chocolate that is truly health-promoting, while still being extremely tasty. TSP’s resident Herbalist, Erin Antosh, will teach you how to infuse therapeutic herbs into chocolate, hide the not-so-tasty medicinal herbs in creamy fillings, use edible flowers for decoration, and add “superfoods” to boost the nutrient density of your “no longer guilty” pleasure. Additionally, you will learn about the power of raw (unpasteurized) honey and real maple syrup in supporting wellness, as we will use natural sweeteners exclusively.\nYou will have the opportunity to taste medicinal herb infused chocolates during class, and we will discuss the medicinal properties of the herbs used to make the chocolate creations, so you will understand how you can make chocolates for particular wellness goals. You will have the opportunity to decorate chocolates and you will go home with three of the chocolate truffles you make in class (if they make it out of class before being eaten)! These creative chocolates make great Valentine’s gifts!\nNOTES: This is partially a hands-on workshop, as you will get to decorate pre-made chocolates. Your event fee includes herbal tea to sip during the class, three chocolate truffles to taste during class, and three chocolates you make to take home. The chocolate you will take home will need to be refrigerated soon after the class. Please inform us of any allergies prior to the class and we will do our best to accommodate.\n X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
